Customizable Mouth Trays: Easy And Effective

The population of people using tooth whitening kits has spiked in usage. Over the last few years, this market has been booming and there seems to by no slow down in the rise. In fact, there are a couple of versions of customizable mouth trays, but the purpose remains the same - to provide for you a tooth tray that is conformed to your own teeth. This means that the tray will fit comfortably in your mouth.

This particular custamizable mouth tray is the one where you need generally a mold made out of your teeth either at the dentist's office or with an at home kit. This impression is then sent to a lab where it is used to form a customized mouth tray just for you.

The alternative customizable mouth trays are made fully at home by the person with what is contained in the tooth whitening kit. There are two trays, one for the top teeth and one for the bottom, that are made of thermoplastic and will fit around anyone's teeth. These are usually referred to as „boil and bite” teeth trays. This is because you place the trays in hot water until the plastic becomes soft and pliable. Then you put them in your mouth and, using your lips, tongue and fingers, press it to your teeth. It will then form around your teeth, giving you a custom made tray.

Customizable mouth trays are the most known method of applying whitening gel. They stay where they are put and keep the gel right by your teeth. Also, there is very little spillage when the correct amount of gel is placed in the trays.
